FLAIL MOWER REAR - FRONT

In the KB heavy duty class mowers larger diameter drive shafts were introduced - 168 mm - which improved the durability of this assembly. This change additionally made possible mulching of bushes and branches with a larger diameter, up to 10 cm.
 





Characteristic:

1. Adjustment is done using a hydraulic actuator. The hydraulic system enables position change through movement of the working unit on the guides,

2. Innovative massive construction of the frame along with the cutting unit forms a solid and tough construction, which enables the quick change of working position from rear to front,

3. A suspension system in which the working unit hangs on pipe guides,

4. The design of rear-front flail mowers enables work in front of and in the rear of the tractor.

The KB class of mowers the diameter and thickness of the flail shaft has been increased. Strong and thick-walled shaft on which the heavy flails (1kg) have been installed concentrically works well in tough conditions.
   

 

Proper use:

1. Mulching thicket and bushes (up to 10 cm),
2. Mowing weed and grass on undeveloped areas. Ideal for tough conditions.

Advantages:

1. Tough, thick-walled shaft with cutting knives (flails) for working in tough conditions,
2. Mounted on 3-point linkage frame at the back or on the front of the tractor,
3. Hydraulic adjustment of the working unit in relation to the tractor’s axis,
4. Internal guard of the cutting unit is made of wear resistant steel,
5. Tough and durable construction,
6. Power transfer using a belt transmission also acts as an overload clutch,
7. The ATS with overrunning clutch in standard equipment,
8. Mowing height adjustment, from 3 to 8 cm, using the ground following shaft,
9. The reinforced housing and the flail shaft bearings located inside which prevents their damage,
10. Simple replacement of sliding skids made of wear resistant steel,
11. Simple flail replacement,
12. Ideal adjustment to the ground and even working height,
13. High quality chains on the front and rubber safety guard at the back ensure effective protection against stone throwing,
14. Changing the working position of the mower from rear to front after changing the upper arm mounted on two pins,

FLAIL MOWER - MULCHERS

 
Flail Mowers - Mulchers are designed for works related to maintenance of municipal infrastructure, urban greenery and orchards. Machines of this
type are used for mowing grass, shrubs, bushes (up to 10 cm) and cutting weeds on uncultivated areas  to leave windrows. Particularly useful in mo-
wing road shoulders, ditches, as well as slopes and counter-slopes. Mulchers are designed for mowing grass, shredding it into pieces and then spreading
the material all over the mowed area. This enables  obtaining a natural windrow, mineralisation of floral remains and re-introducing them to the soil.

Kosiarki serii KBK o szerokościach roboczych 2,00 m i 2,50 m zostały zaprojektowane w szczególności z myślą o rolnictwie. Znajdują one zastosowanie przy mulczowaniu trawy, kukurydzy oraz resztek przyciętych gałęzi. Zostały one wyposażone w otwierana klapę wyrzutową, która znacznie ułatwia obsługę kosiarki oraz zapewnia swobodny rozrzut pokosu na zewnątrz maszyny, co wpływa na mniejsze zapotrzebowanie na moc ciągnika.
Wzmocniono równiez układ zawieszenia tak, aby sprostał jeszcze większym obciążeniom. Wewnętrzna obudowa mulczera składa się z dwóch płaszczy, z których wewnętrzny wykonany jest ze stali trudnościeralnej HARDOX.
Kosiarki serii KBK idealnie nadają się do pracy na ścierniskach kukurydzy, zbóż i innych upraw. Szczególnego znaczenia nabiera w ostatnich latach mulczowanie rżyska kukurydzy, jako skutecznego sposobu zwalczania omacnicy prosowianki, coraz bardziej zagrażającej kukurydzianym plantacjom. Zmulczowanie rżyska kukurydzy przyspiesza rozkład i niszczy znaczną liczbę gąsienic omacnicy prosowianki oraz dużą część zarodników grzybów chorobotwórczych w rżyskach zbóż.
